The Energy sector and the development of renewable sources is one of the key factors in shaping a country sustainable development. ICE-FRANCE is active since its foundation (as RAL) in 1992 in helping Countries and International Institutions design and adapt to efficient and sustainable Energy policies that help boost economic growth, while respecting the environment.

Our main focus areas are:

• Design and implementation of cooperation programmes between EU and third countries in the fields of energy and renewable energies;
• Energy Master Plan or Development Programmes at country or regional level;
• Development of Renewable Energies, policies and projects: Solar, wind, biomass, geothermic at country and regional or at sectoral level, looking, for instance, at the improvement of the energy balance in sugar estates, through a better use of bagasses and other alternative biomass resources;
• Feasibility studies and evaluation of energy projects.
